Take the bus from Gouda train station (number 180) which takes about fifteen minutes. Get out at café De Kleine Betuwe (Provincialeweg Oost 96). Take the first road on the right (Zijdeweg) and at the end you will find the stork centre. There are beautiful walks from the centre straight through the pasturelands to Oudewater.
There is also a beautiful route along the towns and villages of Krimpenerwaard. The most beautiful places can be seen without even moving as this walk is on the Internet.
